I had to get it for my children's bookshelf. This is a must for any child's library. I can remember reading this to by brother over (yikes) 20 years ago.
I believe if I were to purcahse this again, I would go for a hardcover copy. The story of Ferdinand is one that kids relate to. The story is simple and well written.
The book arrived promptly and in excellent condition. The book is as I remembered it. I bought it for my wife who had never read it.
A must read for all kids of all ages. Beautifully illustrated. This is a wonderful book. I heard it as a kid and read it to my 5 year old and 9 year old.
The art and story is amazing and will always hold a special place in my heart and library. I love this book.
